ADEPT's training has evolved with the direct input of local communities.
It provides both the skills and knowledge to enable activists to develop individually and support their local groups and communities, while providing a greater understanding of local communities, their development and the political and wide issues affecting their empowerment and engagement.
ADEPT has approved status with the Open College Network, and the portfolio of ever-expanding topics on offer in modular format, ensures we continue to be responsive and adaptable.
We pride ourselves on the supportive, non-judgemental, yet interactive ways we deliver our training.
Increasingly the training is delivered alongside specific problem-solving, within a bespoke package. Such an approach has provided a valuable hook to those individuals who were previously reluctant to participate in any learning!
For the full ADEPT programme, including short course and bespoke packages, please speak to our Development Manager, Gary Hillyer.
ADEPT also has a dedicated website as a resource to support local groups and their members - groupsinaction.com .
You will find a range of materials, including templates, tips, suggestions and links to other sources.
